Biography
- Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario.
- Graduated in 1975 from Mhawk College, Early Childhood Education. Later attended Brock University and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.
- Retired from the employ of Community Living Mississauga after achieving 27 years of service.
- Favourite Books: The National Dream (Pierre Berton) and the Last Spike (Pierre Berton). These two gifts are the seeds of a continuing journey through Canadian history which has spanned more than four decades to date.
- Most amazing historical people: Sir John A. Macdonald, David Thompson, Donald A. Smith, Dr. John Rae, Harry Greening.
- Avocation: Canadian history and 19th Century Architecture and buildings.
- Mission: Viewed from the perspective of 3 families, MacNab, Thompson, and Buchanan-the preservation of Auchmar Estate with its’ contemporaries, Ruthven and Dundurn Castle.
